Not to bring up next gen but I wonder if C4eva will work on the Next Gen XBOX and apply the same method with ripping and burning your original titles.

Safe to say he probably will, or atleast the same-ish team will.

I can imagine microsoft using similar spec'ed drives etc.. so firmware issues is no problem. It will be a case of getting around the consoles security measures for now..

but to be honest, the closer these consoles get to becoming a PC the easier it surprisingly get's :)

There's only one reason I love Xbox, and it's because the modding community. On the Next Gen console… I'm sure M$ and the C4 team will both still take care of me. And the rumor of no optical drive… come on people. You know how much money scratched discs make the world? Fragile media is not going to go away any time soon.

Maybe, Probably not. the D5s uses different(albeit similar) hardware, and obviously different security software.

There may be a revised version of the TX unlocked pcb which supports both models (due to them being pretty darn similar) or may need a complete board.. but i would be too optimistic about it working together :)

im not quite sure where to post this but i was messing around with what i thought was an old dead 16d2s and managed to get the flash chip to detect in jungle flasher without a probe (i dnt really flash many drives) i normally get my mate to do liteons, but after getting it to detect i decided to try and flash the latest lt 2.0 7485oc /…. it didnt flash because i dont have the necessary hardware… so i decided to throw in some benq lt+ 2.0 instead.. so i added my dvd key and flashed it… it suprisingly flashed…….. i know im trolling but it gets better, i then popped my 16d2s in my xbox and powered it on and decided to test my skyrim backup…….. and wa wud ya f@*"£ng know…… it bloody worked, and plays backups in xgd3, xgd2, ap25 and 26nd, serious im not messing around, iv emailed c4eva admin to try it out and confirm it……. dig out your old 16d2s, dump ur hitachi keys and flash them to a 16d2s with benq fw.. u wont be dissapointed, and no porbes needed, just a sata port set to native ide, or a compatibe sata chipset
