I have a sammy drive in my phat box and i flashed back to stock (from lt+2.01), ran update from usb, then flashed back to lt+ 2.01 and all I get now is Play DVD with both retail and burned games. I flashed back to stock and retail games play just fine but obviously not burned ones. Any idea why this is? I have re flashed 2 times and still getting the same problem. Seems like its just not compatible with this new dash or something.

Nevermind! My bad! Luckily I made a backup of my flashed firmware and just flashed that back and all is good. Although I'm not quite sure why the other firmware would not work. I feel like a tool now.

sh*t happens….. You are going to get bad burns every now and then. There is a laundry list of things that could have gone wrong. Too many pc process running, bad optical drive, the disc could just be bad. Its technology man things break nothing is perfect.

X-KEY has cracked the 1175 drive, the ball is in your court C4EVA

It's a stationary ball sitting in the same court as before. C4eva already de-capped, dumped, and decrypted the 1175 many months ago. The xk3y team has simply carried out the same process in order to add support for it in their ODDE. It doesn't advance anything with respect to LT+ if that's the misguided impression you got.

Think you misunderstood, the x-key now plays backups on 1175, where as C4EVa we are still waiting….

I didn't misunderstand anything. What you said has zero to do with c4eva's fw. What you were actually doing was trying to be clever and mask your complaint/whining about the time it's taking. Like you said, xk3y now supports 1175, so you can either go buy one, or wait patiently for the fw like everyone else.

…and you still need to RGH the console to obtain the DVDkey, so it's no real breaktrough at all.

C4eva BUILT the court. He is the only one with balls. Without C4eva, there would be no sport at all. Please don't insult the one that was, is, and always will be the leader in Xbox hacking. The rest of us who actually respect him don't want him to stop doing what he is doing because he feels he is unappreciated.

I have read from many forums that if I will update my LT 2.0 Liteon using the usb method, then i can still play XGD3 games. Has anyone tried this yet? I really want to play Halo 4 or Dishonored but I am not sure if the update will not mess up my flash. If you think I need to flash to LT 3.0, well, I can't. I can't flash my xbox myself because I don't have the tools cause I am only 15. And I had to travel 500 km just to flash it to LT 2.0 only a year ago. I can't travel that far and bring my xbox again. It's too time and money consuming. I just want to know what the consequences are, using the USB method, after updating the dashboard from 14719 on LT 2.0. Currently, I have flashed all the XGD3 titles with the FF topology and they are all working properly. Can anyone help me?
