[2013-01-26 12:21AM UTC] #c4e <Gandalf84> sorry for the question…I've extracted the key from my dummy.bin, I have spoof it to Stock FW as target, the manual says that now the key should be in KeyDB, but it isn't…
[2013-01-26 12:22AM UTC] #c4e <Gandalf84> keyDB is empty…and if i click whatever, it crashes
[2013-01-26 12:22AM UTC] #c4e <Gandalf84> can somebody help me?

[2013-01-30 02:47AM UTC] #c4e <stefanou> the power button ejects, eject powers on, and modeB is there for decorative reasons
[2013-01-30 02:47AM UTC] #c4e <CarpeDiem> unless you have a phat hitachi drive, and can't get it into mode-b through JF, there is NEVER any use for the Mode-B button.

    Few quick Question:

1.) Is LTU ONLY for the PCB? Or should I update my Drive to it too?
I'm guessing I should but I just wanted to check.

2.) In JF, when I select my 0401 Dummy, how come it still load LT+ 3.0 if I have the 0.1.94 version?

3.) Since there is firmware for the 1175 and 1532, are those drives still unlocked the same way? Like the Probe or Winbond method? Or will that be a completely different method?

Please do some reading on the site, all those questions are answered in depth in posts and in the "view details" links in the status table. But the short answers are 1) LTU is only for the PCB; 2) Because LT+ 3.0 is still the current fw for 0401 unless you're using the PCB; and 3) No, for 1175/1532 and 0500/0502, you must RGH it to get the keys and then use the PCB + LTU.

The update doesn't flash your drive so you can update without worry of having your drive re-flashed. As a safety precaution, I would get the USB update from the XBOX website and update with your ethernet cable unplugged. This also doesn't imply that the update is safe. It just means you can update without re-flashing afterwards. Until C4 says so, it's best to remain offline.
