c4eva Speaks! Mega Puzzle Mashup Contest -- Win a Lite-On iHAS524B! (May 30, 2012 - June 27, 2012)It's contest time again! Up for grabs is a brand new Lite-On iHAS524B that's fully compatible with c4eva's iXtreme Burner MAX firmware!

We came up with our own twist once again — this time mashing together several different puzzle styles for a unique challenge. 14 secret words are being revealed over 21 days through a logo hunt, with each one fitting into a crossword puzzle. 14 special letters from the completed crossword then form the final mystery phrase!

You live busy lives, and we understand that, so we chose 36-hour intervals for the secret word reveals instead of 24, to give everyone a reasonable chance at catching the words. On average, it should only take approximately 5 minutes of your time to find each secret word and submit it.

The first secret word will be revealed May 30, 2012 02:00AM UTC.

Good luck!

The contest runs for a total of 4 weeks (May 30, 2012 02:00AM UTC until June 27, 2012 02:00AM UTC) — 3 weeks for the main part of the contest, and 1 additional week to allow ample time for participants to complete the puzzles and submit their mystery phrase final answers.

Instructions

The contest begins May 30, 2012 02:00AM UTC and ends June 27, 2012 02:00AM UTC.

Every 36 hours, a new secret word will be revealed somewhere in the posts on the first 20 pages, starting from the front page. The secret word will appear only in the actual post content, not in the comments, so you do not need to go through pages of comments searching. You can search for the secret word one page at a time, by going through the first 20 pages using the page toolbar at the bottom:

Pagination

or optionally one post at a time by using the previous/next buttons at the bottom of each post:

Previous/Next Post Navigation

After 36 hours, the secret word will disappear and the next secret word will be revealed on another page. We suggest that you be logged into your account when searching for the words, as users who are not signed-in may see cached pages.

Secret words are marked with the stylized "c" from our logo to the right of it, such as:

[2011-03-04 09:21PM UTC] <c4eva> The Emperor has made a critical error and the time for our attack c4evaSpeaks! has come! :)

In this example, the secret word is "attack" because the "c" appears to the right of it.

You must find the secret words within the 36-hour time period that each is visible.

In the same 36-hour period, you must also submit a comment, containing only the secret word, on this contest post. Do not submit the comment on the post where you find the secret word.

The comments with your answers are treated specially, and are only visible to yourself and to the Admins of c4eva Speaks. Other users will not be able to see your answers.

If you've printed out the Crossword & Mystery Phrase PDF document, you can fill in each secret word as you find them.

Any participants that do not post a comment with the secret word every 36 hours will be disqualified.

On June 18, 2012 02:00PM (14:00) UTC, the 14th and final secret secret word will be revealed for 36 hours, allowing you to finish the crossword and complete the mystery phrase.

At this point, you must submit a comment with the final secret word, and another comment with the mystery phrase.

The final secret word must be submitted in the 36-hour period that it's visible. The mystery phrase can be submitted at the same time, or anytime thereafter up until June 27, 2012 02:00AM (02:00) UTC when the contest closes.

Admin Dont you think a "Regular" ihas is a little bit lame, instead use a "CUSTOM MADE" ihas.
    for example
1)let c4eva sign it, it will be an honour for the winner to have it :)
    2) write on it "Mega Puzzle Mashup Contest WINNER" like in a stylish way, that would make my day if i win it, my month actually :)
3)Let c4eva put a picture of himself on the drive, =D nah just joking :)
but you know make it "CUSTOM"

I'm starting to think that the C4eva didn't crack the lite-on 1175 only because
he hasn't release the info yet to hell with M$ and that contest there is a lot of people
that has a xkey and this is taking to long and i know some one is going to reply and say that
why don't you just sell the slim and buy a phat i don't want a used system any way i just hope he would
speed things up it been over five moths now and people are waiting and don't anybody say RGH it
because i just paid for and an xkey when my phat GPU went out so can c4eva speed things up i don't mind
having to buy something to get to key

      @ACEGOLD20
The DG-16D5S (1175) has a completely different set of hurdles to overcome in comparison to the older DG-16D4S model. He and the team have made huge strides with it so far, but it just takes time. Perhaps you should have done your homework first, then you would have known you can't yet get the key from your 1175 to use with xkey. ODDEs such as the xkey aren't even a consideration in his work, so don't expect any information to be released just for that purpose. You can read this comment to gain some understanding of part of the reason why that is. You don't want to hear it, but the reality is if you can't wait, you really have no choice but to consider other options.

From here on in, I ask that everyone please keep comments on this post on-topic (contest answers or contest-related questions/matters). Off-topic discussion should be posted elsewhere or in the forums.
