halftone – in spanish (and other languages, i would assume) they use double negatives… for example “nothing works” would be “no funciona nada” which when translated literally means “nothing doesn’t work”

PSPISHNIK – thanks, i try to be wonderful?? you CAN play backups, you just have to burn them properly, using a Liteon iHas burner as listed on the front page. this is not new information. it was announced a long time ago. if you don’t follow instructions, then yes, sometimes you will end up with nothing. if you still want to play backups on your hitachi then you will have to do exactly what everyone else does.

woodaddy – like i said above, you need to have a Liteon iHas burner, and you need to flash it with c4e’s custom dvd burner firmware called “ixtreme burner max.” if you look on the front page there is a list of all the drives that are compatible with this firmware. (some other models are ihas drives but rebranded by another company, for example Plextor PL-L890SA, HP 1270i B and 1260i B, Asus DRW-24B3LT, 24B3ST, 24B1LT, and 24B1ST) there are no shananagans. if you can’t get it to work then you are doing something wrong. what model is your litescribe? open imgburn and it should say at the bottom something like:
14:17:08 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices…
14:17:08 -> Drive 1 – Info: ATAPI iHAS524 B AL2A (D:) (SATA)
if you post what type of dvd burner you have we can tell you if you will be able to use it for xgd3 games or if you will need a different burner.

micx81 – are you burning using ixtreme burner max on an ihas drive? did you make sure to use the newest jungleflasher to update your hitachi?
