is it safe to play games online if abgx verifies the topology
data but it does not have a verified rip of the
xex crc in the online database.

that is up to you to decide, whether you trust what you have is a good rip or not. if you didn’t rip it yourself, then you put your risk in someone else’s hands. the topology data will ensure that you can boot the disc and pass ap2.5 checks, but if there is a bad crc it would be logged in your nand and could be seen by microsoft as a bad copy whether you played it offline or online. i made a rip of a slightly dirty game that was in the database, and i got a bad game crc so i deleted it and ripped again. mistakes can be made by anyone, so if it is unverified then it’s usually good to rip twice and compare.
