Well after tossing countless disks and downloading two versions of the game.
P2P and Complex both used the same source as they are both the same XEX couldn’t find the PAL/NTSC-U version that is verified.

I decided to try the old method of truincating the disk without using the burnermax tool. It worked and the game goes passed the loading screen and no unable to read disk errors.

My burner is a Samsung TSSTcorp SN-208BB which has worked with the newest burnermax up until Deadspace 3. So I guess it’s back to truincating disks until a new burnermax comes out.

Just a little heads up for the crew that made the tool and for others that may have the same problem.

i had similar troubles but only with disk 2 and the verified rip is on bitsoup.
i burnt off disk 1 no troubles but disk 2 took lots of playing with settings to get it correct :)

i’m sorry but there is no difference with Dead Space 3. it is just a regular xgd3 title like any other. truncating is definitely not recommended. sometimes it’s just bad luck with discs, maybe you hit a bad batch, but it cannot be caused by the title itself. if it was a new disc format or some new type of xgd3 then seacrest and the crew at abgx360 would have noticed and had something to say about it. i can say from personal experience that it burns just fine.

Sounds like you’re mixing apples and oranges… You can burn an unverified game with burnermax. Verification is an abgx360 thing.

i’m not talking about verification at all. and i don’t think anyone else was either. from what i understood of the original posters issue, he said he was throwing away discs, presumably because of failed burns. he tried the p2p version and the complex version assuming that somehow that would make a difference. both of those are the same xex of course, the rf version. he could not find the pal/ntscu version to give that a try. so for some reason he came to the conclusion that it must be something specifically different about the data layout of dead space 3 that prevents it from being burned with burnermax. that just makes no sense at all. i pointed out that it is just another xgd3 like the ones before it and if there was something special or different the verifiers would have been able to notice that. plus if it just did not work, there would be countless people also claiming they had problems.

My TSST drive works fine with DS3 and burnermax ap using mkm 003′s or AOne gold’s ! you must have bad data !! or abgx hasn’t patched it right.. Rent it and rip it, just to be sure.
