Hi!

This is my first post. :)
I have a x360 with a Lite-on drive since 2009 updated with the Lt2.0 fw, however, I haven’t been the most careful when it comes to handling with ban avoidance (like AP2.5 possible flags, or updating fw with internal power supply, or even playing games prior to its release date).

I have gone Live in the first weeks with LT1.1, but for about 2 years now i don’t risk going Live.

Since I have done all these things offline, its not really a problem, and in the last firmware update I read all the information available and I have been careful in doing the fw update. But with all this I am certainly flagged in the console.

In the last days I’ve been searching some ways to verify if I have been banned.
I stumbled upon Xval, which I read not to be 100% accurate, and I’m trying to find a way to verify if I’m banned to do some game updates.

I read that you analyze the error codes (X,Y,Z) after testing the connection with your hdd disconnected. But that raises some questions.

If i have a code that means that I’m banned:
- Will that corrupt my saves, profile and gamertag after I connect the HDD, or won’t have any problem since i won’t go Live again?

If i have a code that means that I’m safe:
- Can i update my games safely till the next ban wave?

I’m not planning in playing live, just download some patches.

Well, i hope that you understand my english, i tried my best. :P

Thanks in advance guys.
Regards.

If you go Live and get a ban you will have Problems…. If you stay offline, not get an ban everything is fine.

Maybe yes, maybe no. Xval isn’t 100% accurate
You maybe already flagged/banned on the MS servers and not flagged on your console…

Only way to find out is —–> Connect to XBL

I agree with that dude, quit being a punk. if you get banned, you get banned. how much does a used xbox cost? how much money have you saved in back-ups? Come on, you guys act like getting banned is the worst thing in world. if you are a modder, then those are the risks you take.
