Hi,

I’m trying to burn a few backups but they keep failing on the verifying process. I’ve tried at 2.4x &4x using Verbatim DVD+R DL as always, but still I get the following. Can someone help me or tell me what I’m doing wrong? My LiteOn Drive is flashed with the Max FW. It’s just seems to be the new XGD3 ISOs that I’m
having an issue with.

Thanks in advance

this is what worked for me m8….hope you have luck!!!!

First open the EEPROM.exe in the burner firmware pack select your drive and then go to the option tab make sure all settings in the Option tab are ticked EXCEPT Over Speed Writing then click exit.

Now in image burn go to I/O tab page 2, and set the buffer size to 71 or 72 or 73. Then go to the Write tab make sure that enable burnproof is NOT ticked, if burning at 4x media make sure OP is ticked in imageburn”write tab” but if yourusing verbs at 2.4x untick OP, try both!!!!!!!!

right m8, i thing i have noticed in the log…”correct me if im wrong” your using verbs MKM-003-00 right?
i think i read in the ixtreme burner max tutorial that verbs MKM-003-00 should only be burnd at 4x with OP enabled………
so my personal opinion m8, unistall image burn, and reinstall leaving at default settings,. load.dvd file. go to setting/write/ enable”tick”OP…….BURN AT 4X……. Thats what i would do m8…..

Hi mate,

Sorry, bit of a noob about all this. I have no idea what type of Verbatim’s they are I’m afraid? Should I change the options in EEPROM?

I think I’ve actually tried the 4x on this ISO before & it failed?

Just stumbled across this, make any sense? http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?p=460699

Guys, I would be less concerned about verifying your backups with ImgBurn, and focus more on getting ‘acceptable’ discs by testing with KProbe2.

Check out the following: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73298

you should raise your buffer size.. in the I/O tab in imgburn to 70-90 MB’s and change the EEPROM settings to force hyper tuning and online hyper tuning and smartburn.
and burn at a speed of 2.4x speed! so it writes perfect.. maybe the problem is in the writer itself..
i burned platinum discs at 2.4x speed and verified 100% and installed on xbox fully. so you should try that

SpankMonkey, so I should turn of verifying in IMGBURN & use KProbe2 instead?

GRIZZ-RH It’s a brand new writer & only burned 2 discs successfully, so I hope it’s not the writer itself?!

Should I just increase the buffer, the verify using KProbe2?

I had same error. First run EEPROM.exe; in the option tab make sure all settings ticked except Over Speed Writing.Burn at 2.4(MKM.003) OP unticked. And try to burn in windows safe mode(It’ critical). With this config you can make flawless backups…
