I have the 424 B and followed all the steps and when it goes to write it says error writing flash to drive.
I used the GL1A for the 424 B. I’m just not sure what it is that is wrong. I Have windows 7 pro 32 bit. Im not sure if this matters but in the bios where it says sata: can change to IDE, Raid, AISC. Its set on Raid, but when I set to IDE I Windows error so I set it back to Raid. Any help would Be great.

Needs to be on IDE, I had the same issue, put it into a spare machine that was set to IDE and it flashed straight off.

If you dont have a second pc or a friends etc to do it on, you could always install windows on a seperate hdd if you have one set to IDE then once flashed connect your raid setup again and reselect raid in bios.
