Well then it looks like maybe I have a dodgy laser or something.

The only other AP 2.5 backups I have are Black Ops and Fable III. I’ve just run both of those through abgx, and they’re both clean as a whistle.

When (if) abgx gets updated to cope with XGD3 titles, I’ll run Batman AC through it and see what it says.

The burning process verified in imgburn just fine, using the recommended MKM-003 Verbatim disk at 4x with OPC turned on.

It’s intensely annoying as I’ve had an xbox now since June 2010, modified from day one and not been flagged/banned. Only a couple of weeks ago I decided to buy my own TX kit so I could flash the drive myself to LT 2.0, and keep up with future firmware releases etc.(I originally sent it off to someone to get LT 1.0 put on it, so the only AP 2.5 disk it had seen up to putting 2.0 on it was my original AC Brotherhood).

The first time I ever put in a disk that I haven’t verified with abgx, I get flagged… Go figure! :-(

i still maintain the idea that microsoft isn’t going to ban for the xval fails anymore since people with scratched originals were also failing ap2.5 checks. supposedly the 13604 update actually UNBANNED people who were banned for the ap2.5 checks…

@clutch
Just for the sake of curiosity, I’d be curious to see if your Batman burn passes a Kprobe disc check. Apparently Imgburn isn’t as thorough of a verify method as Kprobe is.

Responses to c4eva Spoke! (2011-10-23 #c4e)
albert says: does anyone know if its safe to to the OCT.11.11 update. please answer i really want to play xbox liv. did c4eva say anything about that?
admin says: It’s safe, and yes he said it. Read back through the logs and you’ll find it.

what is your “problem with 13599″? just updating might not fix it.

i had problems with jtags that supposedly needed an update (would not play arcade games and was missing avatar), but only when my friends hdd was in, when mine was in everything worked. recently i found out that even if your dashboard is 13599, your hard drive may not have the 13599 files. how i was told to fix this was install the update from the usb drive. since the jtag already had 13599 on the nand, it didn’t bother to write to it (which would mess up a jtag), but it noticed that the files on the hdd were not up to date, so it only updated that. if you have recently made changes with your hard drive, that could be why you have no avatar, and have games asking for an update. if you want to update your hard drive only and not update your dash to 13604, you can download the 13599 update to a usb drive. as soon as you put it into your xbox it will detect and offer to update. you could also just get the 13604 on a usb or connect your xbox to live. as i mentioned c4e has said it is safe. either way should fix your problem.
