your write verified ok, so yes I’m gonna say you flashed good. I did mine last week following each jf step with a youtube tutorial vid, and I wish all my drives were benqs. Incredibly easy

Liteon isn’t all that terrible depending on which model. The model that requires the probe is cake and the lt clip for the 9k isn’t that difficult either. Just gotta be careful with those trace cuts and a fiber glass pen will save you much hassle!

No the 9k is phat. I believe its the most common drive from around 2008 to the slim era. I think there is a new solution that doesn’t require trace cutting. Idk much about it tho since I already vested in a bunch of tools and have done the drive several times. I dont mind making the cuts. It really isn’t that hard just a little uneasy first time around taking a blade to a circuit board.

Ya I remember when I did my first MRA to a lite-on. Ended up using a Dremel tool and cut off wheel, that was….interesting to say the least. And pretty nerve rackin, especially since it wasn’t my Xbox. I would say the probe is probably worth it, but I still don’t own one Lol. Think I’m gonna get a Lizard soon, they are pretty cool. Amaze all my friends, comes with a probe, all in one! :-) Plus I think I read they can power a drive, which is sooooo much nicer than having to use an Xbox and extra fans for fear of heat.

Anyway, there’s my story! -Brodie
