OK I know this isn’t a deal site but, I am getting tired of all these cheap asses that won’t invest in an Ihas. I just got an email from Newegg.com and there is an Ihas 124 for $16.99 +$0.99 Shipping.(free shipping with shoprunner or if you live near city of Industry,CA you can pick it up instead of shipping) There you go $17.99 for an Ihas drive and no more complaining or need to truncate. Deal is good through 4/30 and according to reviews it is a model B.

just be careful… many people have reported getting an ihas-c even though it says ihas-b.

i would try one of these listings if you want to be 100% certain:

Yeah I know Newegg and Amazon don’t actually list what sub model it is. I am only going off what reviewers have said. I am sure it is possible to get the wrong one but, I bet its more rare from those two then not. They both have a good return policy though so if you are unfortunate request a replacement and try again. I got mine off Amazon directly from Amazon not a third party seller. I got it when it first launched and was very popular so the 124 was on a three week wait and the 424 came on sale so I jumped on it. I could care less about the lightscribe and smart erase as this makes drive #3 in my tower but, for $19 I am glad I jumped on it and haven’t had to worry about coasters. All I mean by this is it’s about 1/3 the cost of a retail disc. Just freaking buy it. For those who are unable to mod yourself you have already invested why not do this too? For those who can mod their own don’t be cheap at least you didn’t pay someone to mod it for you.
