I take it you are asking about scene release groups that up 0 day and such. If that is the case, sorry I can not help. I trust no rips but my own.

Yea..not to nit-pick m8 but reading through the lines you’re basically asking “who is the best scene group to download games from for those of us who don’t own the original”

If you can flash your drive to Lt+ to play your original, then you can flash it to 0800v3 to rip your original…unless it’s Hitachi or Samsung (Samsung has an older ripping firmware that will do XGD2′s, Hitachi never got one at all)

I know infamous from another site. I don’t think he is asking to do anything shady. I just don’t download from any of them, so am no help with that.

After reading his second post I owe an apology, I just wish his original post had mentioned what he just said cause I’m willing to bet that the majority of people who just scanned the question thought the same thing I did. What he just stated makes more sense, and for that, I apologize m8 =)

The first few XGD3′s that RRoD released were supposedly good/safe. I think iND is also safe for XGD3, not so sure about XPG. MARVEL and COMPLEX have been pretty solid in the past but I’m not sure if they’ve done any XGD3′s.

There is no such thing as a good or bad ripper. There are scene and p2p rippers and until the new abgx is out we won’t know if there rips are good or bad. Remember your using these rips at your own risk. The best rips are your own using 0800 v3.

Samsung and hitachi users have no choice but to DL others rips unless they buy a benq or liteon to rip with.

thanks for the reply and no problem phrizz i would have thought the same from reading my first post. but I have a benq drive with 0800v3, just my pc took a dump the same day i bought my 124b lite on and I havent been able to test it. nor rip my own ogc (original copies) with these 2 games coming out this week I know i will be switching a lot between those 3 and dont want to leave my ogc by accident out where my 3 year old will start to play with it as a frisbee.

Sounds like ya’ need a lock-box m8! lol =)

I know the feeling, I have a 2 y/o niece that is at my place pretty much on a daily basis and she thinks all my CDs, DVDs & games are unbreakable toy mirrors that double as dog-toys =P Thank god for backups!
