I had a 2009 elite turn up yesterday with a dodgy Lite-On 748 A0A2 drive(Kept scratching disks and not reading them), So i PMT’d the key out of the drive replaced it with a A0A1 and promptly flashed it with the new key, All good so far flash wen’t as normal and verified all ok, Popped it in the elite powered up all fine but XGD3 backups that work ok on sammy’s benq’s and A0A1 equipped 360′s don’t get recognised and when i put an original game disk in its picked up as a DVD, I thought this odd so i reflashed it back to stock and then the 360 picks up original game disks fine. The 360 is on dash 13604 which i just put on it via USB and i put the same dash on a benq’d 2007 system and that plays everything i throw at it. Has the 2009 Falcon board got an installed instruction to not run anything but stock firmware? Has anyone else had this problem though.

Thanks for all the help guys, Just had to use the TU trick and all is good. Does that mean it has been stealth updated though?
