hey c4ev or admin or whoever is in charge of this page you have being doing such a nice work and i kindly would like to ask if you can make a CFW for liteon 124-04 C to write the games 100%
and is there any change between 124b and 124c ? because if not then whats the point of only doing it on 124b? and b revision ?
manufactures are only doing revision C right now :S thats bad for the country

Hello, I also want to know if it’s possible make a CFW for Liteon 124-04 C, it will be great ! Because as you said, manufactures are only doing revision C right now. And many people already have this version or are buying it.

The change between 124b and 124c is the chipset, if I’m not wrong…

this was the last i heard about the possibility of ihas-c burnermax firmware: (basically, it says he wants to do it, he will try to do it, eventually, but there is no guarantee that it can or will be done.)

(2012-03-18 at 06:29PM) admin says: I’ve already seen this incite rumour from people misinterpreting and jumping to conclusions, so let me clarify my previous comments on this subject by saying that despite c4eva’s intention, this is by no means a guarantee that the C’s can or will be done. The C version employs a new encrypted chipset, and as of right now, Burner MAX fw will not work with it.
Lite-On has discontinued production of the B version, and many retailers/wholesalers will soon (if they haven’t already) run out of stock and/or raise prices on what stock they still have.
We strongly recommend that you make every effort possible to find a B version while they’re still available.

(2012/03/09 at 05:38AM) admin said: It’s already on his To-Do list. [ihas-c burner max fw]

(2012/03/02 at 06:23PM) admin said: Currently, only the “B” versions of the iHAS drives are supported. However, the team has been collecting dumps of the new “C” version for a while, and c4eva plans to take a look at doing a version of Burner MAX that supports it.

the admin of this site is a trusted person that i have talked to on irc before. the private messages are not fake. the simple answer to “will there be a burner max for ihas-c?” is Maybe. no more info is available.

Yet another reason why I am glad I bought my 424 6 months ago for only $19. I knew something like this would happen and it kills me that (besides those new to the scene) everyone has known about this for a long time and just kept brushing it off. Now it might be too late unless you get lucky or buy from someone who hoarded a bunch and are price gouging the hell outta them.

I had a feeling this would happen as well so I bought 4 Ihas 624B’s when the firmware was first released just in case from amazon uk. But for the people who are winging rite now about the C versions, shame on you you should of purchased one straight away soon as the firmware was released, the drives were dirt cheap at the time, so dont blame C4eva and hassle the bloke about it, its not his fault there was plenty of time for everyone to sort one out. So Im releved in a way. Few!!!
