Hey guys. Is it fine to re-rip an image of an XGD3 using Imgburn? Since the data has already been burnt with burner max fw and verified etc, would the image be ok to burn afterwards? I am asking this because i have ripped a XGD3 backup and the image size came out 8,534,048, but the original size of the new XGD3 games are: 8,534,030
Is there any reason for the change in size or does it have something to do with the layer break info?
Any help appreciated.
yes it’s because of the size of the sectors or something. when you burn the disc image then rip it back it will pad out the last 18 bytes. it will be fine and you can burn this again. i can confirm that i have isos on my computer pre- and post- burning and they both scan and check out with abgx360 regardless whether they are 30 or 48 bytes at the end…
