So i am confused on some people saying there will be no need for a new abgx, So how will you know that the game you are downloading is legit or safe even with the new lite on b drive, I am just confused altogether if we just keep spending money for no reason this time. Also what about the new dashboard coming in november. What if we spend all this money on the right burner drive the right verbatim disks and next month we get flashed back to stock or something, I just hope there will be a tut somewhere that will explain once everything is said and done soon how to make it where we are safe in order to get the new games coming out

I don’t think it was ever said this will make downloads safe. It could but that would depend on the download. I think what he said was this will make our own rips as safe as possible.

yes u should be ripping ur own copy of ur own retail this fw is to give us away to backup our legal retail games that we own. if u download them thats ur business but wouldnt be saying it sum wont help u . also dont cry about spending money to pirate games jeezz sum of u guys its like really? bro if ur ripping ur own then no need. if u must download to try before u buy. then download from a scene release u know trusted. dont random download and expect a nice little gui app such as abgx to make it ok!. be greatful bro. if u dont want to spend ur money then dont. and if i had to pay someone to flash my drive i would use that money buy my own hardware flash myself. cause u r going to make sum guys sum paper if u have to pay everytime we update fw . lol

at the moment it passes current checks ;) so it’s ok for a while at least =)

yes but there is no need bro its the same except set the layer break to optimal and it will burn 2×4 speed no errors no prob. its good abgx wa used because we had to patch info in cause the rips didnt get the info. with the new 0800v3 for ripping and lt+2.0 for playing and burner max fw for pc burning if no erors burning then ur good if u rip it. if u must download then get only from trusted peeps scene releases

Theres already a tutorial available at team xecuters site by the omnipotent Ubergeek. It’s very detailed and everything is spelled out to limit what little confusion there may be. Also glosses over how to burn with imgburn on the new drive. Now the final missing piece is the firmware for the liteon drives. Why won’t the weekend get here faster?!

Ah I see what you mean. No this burner max firmware is strictly for burning the game image. In order to rip your original then you will need an old Benq or phat Liteon that has been flashed with c4evas 0800 firmware. So basically one disk drive will rip the game while a different drive will burn the game.
