This is the official word from c4eva:

“Currently topology data for xgd3 titles are similar and topology data from one xgd3 title will pass on another xgd3 title although this is not advisable.

Per title title topology data is best as there are slight differences between titles and newer titles could have different topology than existing ones.”

Now the only problem is that are only a few specific patches I have been able to find from various sites. Yes I am aware of the 2 specific general patches out there, but that is not what I am after. I am looking for specific topology data for each game. Does anyone know of where this info can be found? As I’ve stated I’ve tried all of the normal sources with no success.

what is the date on that post? i remember it was somewhat older. read the readme i linked to from the two median .bin patch files to see why they are a better choice. specifically see the PS…

If you look at the firmware release changelog it was stated on 12/25 when LT 3.0 came out.

The reason why I am after it is I am hearing reports of people having issues with specific games not working after applying the topology data while others work.

Yeah I read the P.S. and that just leads me to more confusion. Is what c4eva correct or that post you referenced? Since people are having issues with specific games such as nba 2k12.

everyone on irc is saying use the median .bins and to wait for the patches to be released for the other 3 xgd2 titles. i agree, it seems like they will be more accurate patches than i have the time to create. we just have to remember that any new titles after today could be xgd3 with a different profile id than the ones the current patch is made for. they have said there are new profile ids listed in the dae.bin for upcoming games. i’m sure the team will start dumping new topology as soon as they can get copies.
