I’m in the market for a pata burner. I was told in another site that LG’s are the way to go. But here C4 says:

[2011-10-04 11:02AM UTC] #fw image burns gow fine wont finalize disk on rise and space marine
[2011-10-04 11:02AM UTC] #fw yeah get 97% but wont write lead out track for me dj just get the silly womens voice ..lol “oh No”
[2011-10-04 11:03AM UTC] #fw bag:what burner?
[2011-10-04 11:05AM UTC] #fw lg
[2011-10-04 11:05AM UTC] #fw new one
[2011-10-04 11:05AM UTC] #fw lg have issues with layerbreak

I don’t want to have problems with a new burner. Can you guys tell me what burners you use? What burners you used to make a good backup copy of an xgd3 game like gow3 etc.
When I say good copy, I mean that the copy installs to the hard drive without any errors, loads without errors and smooth gameplay off backup when installed and not installed on hard drive.

my drive is an HP 1270d. searching has revealed to me that it is a clone of a LiteOn iHAS224.
