I too have a Hitachi v79 and can’t wait for the release. I’m just wondering why the Hitachi is scheduled last — is it due to some technical difficulties or is it simply because no one uses it anymore? Anyway, you are doing an excellent job c4eva, much appreciated!! ‘(^.^)’

Hitachi FL0079 here as well, looking forward to 2.0

cheers c4!

hdnine: I could be wrong, but I think Hitachi phat comes last for a couple reasons; one, these drives are flashed in a completely different manner than the others (hence the Hitachi tab in JF) and two, Hitachi’s are a bit obsolete nowadays (weren’t Hitachi’s the first drives to ship in the 360 at launch? correct me if that is wrong please!) cheers m8

I am too eagerly waiting for LT+ 2.0 for my Hitachi 79. I am truly thankful that c4eva has been so kind to this community. He truly is a legend.

Is there a way to know exactly when the new fw is uploaded? or ready. like automated email or something?

phrizz: You might be right! Looking forward to trying the new LT 2.0. I was asked to flash my friends drive but he has a Liteon which i realized meant a lot more work, like having to use extra hardware and stuff to dump the key… >.<

xfullboost: I just keep clicking the “c4eva speaks!” logo at the top of the page to reload in order to check, I don’t think there is an auto-email notification available but I could be wrong.

hdnine: I hear ya, all my m8′s either have BenQ’s or Lite-on drives and I know that Lite-on (depending on model) can be a real PITA w/o the proper hardware. I’ll stick with my Hitachi until I burn her up hah I had zero problems initially flashing it with Lt+ 1.1 with an XBlaster CK3 and using the lone internal SATA port in an old Dell Optiplex 170L. I’m hoping the on-board eSATA port on my main tower (ASUS A8N32-SLi Deluxe mobo) will work just as easily once Lt+ 2.0 releases.

I also have a Hitachi 79 drive and I’m hoping to leave as soon as the LT + 2.0.
Congratulations to c4eva genius for providing us this wonderful work.
