Hi guys, I have been wondering if i should buy the new xbox one or not and the only thing that makes me want to purchase the xbox one is for the hope that c4 will be trying to bring flash ixtreme support to the nextgen console. I know that the new console is going to be on lock down pretty much thanks to microsofts DRM policies but I was hoping to get some clarification. Thanks!

i’m sure they will be looking into the possibilities to see what they can do with the xbox one. but at this point i don’t see how they can make any guarantees as to what if anything will happen. just wait. i’m sure when there is news to hear it will be posted.

i suggest you buy one and never take it online, keeping it free from any possible updates that would fix any security holes they may have overlooked when first releasing the console. this is also a nice way to “stick it to them”. think about when the jtag hack first came out. i bet so many people were disappointed that they updated their xboxes and were no longer able to do it.

ok thanks a lot for the reply! Thats what I was thinking to im not going to update and its best to buy the first gen of the 1 just incase it will have hardware exploits that a newer revision wont. But ya i havent heard anything from C4 so i was getting curious.

I don’t think C4eva will try to mod the new xbox one blue ray drives. Why? because most of the games released for the xbox one will also be released for the 360, so why go through all the hassle. No reason. Now when the xbox 360 is phased out, then look for him to put some work in on the xbox one.

well i would consider the majority of the work on the 360 dvd drives as done, so i see no reason why he wouldn’t start looking into it as soon as it’s available to him. especially now since they have allowed offline play and removed the disc registering policy. it took a while before ixtreme firmware was “stealth” and live safe however. although buying a bluray burner and being forced to stay offline until a guarantee against bans adds some drawbacks to switching from the 360 to the One, there still are going to be games that are exclusive to the new system so there will always be an interest.

I tell u , I myself not gonna buy xbox1 for at least 1 or 2 years after it’s release or maybe never even buy it ! , because I don’t want to experience same shit that I did with my 360 , I’m talking about that stupid RROD shit that happened with our boxes , I remember very clear . and I don’t want to go through that shit again … so all I’m saying to u is that u too wait and don’t rush in buying them , have a little patience ..! then after a year or two , u can even have the answer for ur question . IF u wanted to buy it …!
P.S : sry 4 the bad language , just wanted to tell u about one thing that must never be forgotten about 360s and THE GREAT M$ …!!!
