Xbox LIVE Dashboard Update 2.0.16537.0 Rolling Out

This morning, Microsoft began rolling out a new SystemUpdate which brings the Xbox 360 dashboard/kernel version to 2.0.16537.0. You may notice that this update's version is the same version number as the last update in the 2013 Xbox LIVE Public Beta program, meaning there have been no further changes in its transition from beta to production (public release).

As such, c4evaSpeaks.com has already previously confirmed that this update continues to work fine with backups on Xbox LIVE and offline using c4eva's custom firmware LT v2.01, LT+ v2.0 & v3.0, LTU v1.0, and LTU v2.0. We've also tested backups with xk3y and it too continues to function without issue both offline and on Xbox LIVE.

      I wouldn't hold your breath!

I'm sure that if c4eva felt it necessary to talk to the world about this update, he would have done so by now!

So far have updated Benq 04421C, Hitachi 79FL and Lite-on 02519C to this dash from 16203. All were flashed with LT+ v3.0 at the time. Did NOT flash back to stock first…. All 3 running fine with backups and originals on live!

Is there going to be a live log? I'm waiting to update for about 9 months now. Don't get me wrong. I love what c4eva has done so far! I only like to know if there will be a live log. If there is one coming I'll wait, but if there is not going to be one, I can make up my mind about updating and the safety this will have…. Could you please inform us if you are going to do a live log? Thanks!

If there was something wrong with the updates we would have known by now. I updated since the first day of the latest dash and no trouble at all. I'm sure it is safe or otherwise c4eva would have told us not to update
